After a short hiatus, the Pulse is back! DARCOMM will continue to refine this monthly communication, so if you have ideas, please email Elizabeth Elmore.
First of all, congrats to our latest SIC 'EM Award winners (Realenn Watters, Kate Lovin, Ryan Phillips, Kali DeWald) and everyone who was nominated for the honor.
Secondly, thank you to EVERYONE who participated in Georgia Giving Day. We landed at 9,339 gifts for a total of $5.3 million in new funding. Gifts were made, war rooms operated, donuts disseminated, tech platforms managed, gifts processed, social media managed, and on-campus and chapter events hosted. It was an all-hands-on-deck campaign and I want to thank you for ensuring it was a success. Check out Heather Duiser's DAR blog to learn more about this incredible initiative.
Lastly, join me in welcoming our fourth affinity group, Latino Alumni, to the UGA Alumni family. They will help engage our Hispanic, Latino, and Spanish-heritage alumni.
We're approaching Commencement and soon after, the end of our fiscal year. Let's finish the year strong. Go Dawgs! SIC 'EM, Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the UGA Foundation

Checking in on the DAR Strategic Plan
Each month, we’ll showcase one goal from DAR’s Strategic Plan and share one thing to illustrate some of the work being done to achieve that goal. If you have an idea or suggestion, please email Katie DeGenova. Teddy DeGenova knows the best doctor's office reading is the DAR SIC 'Em booklet--and the best accessory is a few UGA stickers strategically placed on an outer space sweatshirt. Goal No. 19: Enhance the level of services provided by the UGA Foundation, and maintain a commitment to fiduciary care. One thing in progress now: The UGA Foundation is laying the groundwork to accept gifts of cryptocurrency. Questions? Contact Brandon Scott. The DAR Game Plan / SIC 'Em Booklet If you were unable to attend the March Division Meeting, you can download, request or swing by Tyler Daniels's office to snag a copy of the DAR Game Plan that was handed out.
