How does the Pet Memorial Program Work?

As a veterinarian, you can make a gift to the college in memory of a deceased pet by completing the online form. You receive the contribution credit and the tax deduction. The pet owner will receive a gracious letter acknowledging your contribution.

Step 1: Visit apps.dar.uga.edu/ugapm and log in (or create a login).

Step 2: Enter your client’s information and mailing address.

Step 3: When you are ready, submit your batch and your 100% tax deductible gift.

Step 4: Your clients will receive a personalized note regarding your generous gift made in memory of their beloved pet.

When will my Tribute Acknowledgement be mailed?

Within 10 business days.

How will my gift make an impact?

From hands-on training to business management education, private support advances UGA CVM's mission to prepare future veterinarians for the real world. With the help of generous donor support, the CVM launched a Shelter Medicine Program in partnership with the Athens Area Humane Society in Fall of 2021. Is there a minimum gift?

The cost is $10 per pet that you would like to honor.

What will my client receive?

With your gift your client will receive a personalized card informing them that a donation was made in their pet's memory.
