Ah-MAY-zing!
What a fantastic Team Stewardship we enjoyed! Another big shout out to Kim Brown and the entire Engineering team for hosting such a remarkable day. Weren’t those 3D printed bulldogs the coolest? Also, kudos to each speaker for their engaging presentations. The meeting clearly aligned with the original vision for Team Stewardship. It was full of information, inspiration and camaraderie. It warmed my heart to see so many Stewies supporting each other that day.
Below, you'll see our video from Thank a Donor Day! We also have a new video designed to steward milestone giving is in the works. Scholarship Gratitude Reports are nearing their completion, and graduation was last weekend. As we come closer to the end of what could be a record fundraising year, we should all feel a sense of pride in the stewardship that has complemented those fundraising numbers. Your hard work is paying off in continued and increased giving, and is a vital component of UGA’s fundraising success. Let’s finish the year strong, while setting our sights on exciting plans for the year ahead. With this talented and passionate group of stewardship professionals, the sky's the limit!

STEWIES CELEBRATE THANK A DONOR DAY |
Donor Relations and Stewardship
Thank you all for helping to make Thank a Donor Day 2022 a success! It was wonderful being back on campus and having meaningful interactions with our students as they practiced their attitude of gratitude and learned more about the importance of private giving as it relates to their education and college experience.
Shout out to the Engagement Center for the amazing job they did calling some of our most generous donors. Student callers shared their appreciation with over 1,000 donors on Thank a Donor Day! We look forward to emailing all FY22 donors later this week with a wonderful video message (thank you DARCOMM!) and photos from the day. For more information, reach out to Jordan Dotson. |
Shhh...the video and photos will be emailed to donors later this week. Please refrain from sharing until after Thursday. |

We are so grateful for such amazing collaboration between colleagues. You can see Engineering’s Impact of Giving website for more inspiration. For more information, reach out to Kim Brown |
Cumulative Giving Societies
We are excited to have upgraded our CGS stewardship with a new welcome packet this past year and are looking forward to rolling out personalized impact videos for stewarding those donors who move up within CGS to Abraham Baldwin and Crystal Arch.
In addition, we are working on a new cultivation plan to notify development officers when they have a donor who is close to qualifying for CGS ($1M+). More to come on this as we hope to roll out a monthly process in the next year.
For more information, reach out to Jordan Dotson and Shearron Hamlin. Honor Roll of Donors With the end of the fiscal year approaching, we would like to remind you that the following donor lists will be published in the printed and online annual reports: 2022 President’s Annual Report (print version) Cumulative Giving Societies Heritage Society 2022 President’s Annual Report (web version) Cumulative Giving Societies Heritage Society Presidents Club Founding Presidents Club

Over the next few months, Calli and Daynes will be reaching out to set up meetings with each unit to learn about your stewardship plans. The last time we did a survey like this was 2016, and we assume a few things have changed since then! This will purely be for our informational purposes, so we can get a bird’s eye view of stewardship across campus. We can’t wait to hear about all of the great things you are doing for your donors! For more information, reach out to Daynes Parker. |

Sign, Sealed, Delivered: Giving Day Stewardship
Giving Day Thank You notes were sent in mid-April. Due to the overwhelming success of Giving Day, we did have to pare down our recipient list a bit. Donors who received it gave between $5-$25K to an academic fund. Senior Signature, first time donors, and PAWS recipients were excluded as they received other stewardship pieces. If you have ideas for how to improve stewardship next year, we’d love to hear them! For more information, reach out to Daynes Parker.
