| BULLARD NAMED CEO OF THE SAME HOUSE |

After over a decade serving as the head of the Chick-fil-A Foundation, Rodney Bullard (MBA ’12) has stepped down from his post as Executive Director to create and lead his own nonprofit, The Same House,
as Chief Executive Officer. Before helping build the Chick-fil-A Foundation into one of Atlanta’s largest company-sponsored charities, Bullard attended the Air Force Academy, is a former NASA and Department of Justice employee, and is an alumnus of the Terry College, Harvard Business School and Duke Law School. He will bring his extensive experience to The Same House, a venture that will allow Bullard to focus more of his attention on his passion for building economic mobility for local communities. Bullard hopes that the organization will build on his previous work, bringing people together to focus on economic mobility through education, employment, and entrepreneurship in Georgia’s communities.

FINANCE MAJOR JOINS THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS |

Lainn Wilson (BBA ’14, MS '16) spent six years as a student manager and graduate assistant with the UGA men’s basketball program. After graduation, Wilson joined the G-League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons as an Assistant Coach for three years, before joining the Philadelphia 76ers as an Assistant Video Coordinator for two years. Most recently, Wilson joined the Golden State Warriors coaching staff as their Head Video Coordinator. In this role, Wilson is responsible for analyzing video to prepare players for upcoming matchups and to coach them on their strengths and weaknesses. Wilson is proud to be part of the 2022 NBA championship winning team.

SELF NOMINATED FOR 2022 CMA TOURING AWARD |

Stephanie Self is a partner at Farris, Self & Moore LLC, a boutique firm established in 2015, in Nashville, Tennessee, specializing in business management and financial planning services. She was recently nominated for a 2022 CMA Touring Award, for Business Manager of the Year, which is amongst one of the fifteen award categories. These awards highlight the behind-the-scenes members of the country music touring industry. The Touring Awards ceremony will take place January 30 at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works.
Self was selected as one of Nashville’s Emerging Leaders with the Class of 2013 and was voted as one of Nashville’s Top 30 under 30 in 2012 and UGA’s 40 under 40 in 2019. In 2018, Self was named the Terry College of Business Outstanding Young Alumni of the Year. She is a member of the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, the Gospel Music Association and The Recording Academy. Self earned dual degrees from UGA, including bachelors in both risk management and insurance and music performance, and in 2007, she was among the first graduates to earn the new Music Business Certificate.

The Georgia Bulldogs are Back to Back National Champions! Terry College student athletes and Terry graduate and head coach Kirby Smart beat Texas Christian University to bring home a second consecutive national championship title to the University of Georgia.

MBA ALUMNI GATHER AT TERRY EXECUTIVE EDUCATION CENTER |

MBA alumni gathered at the Terry Executive Education Center on Thursday, January 19th to connect with former classmates and network with fellow alumni. Photos from the event can be found here. Guests heard from Executive and Professional MBA Director Susan Brown who provided highlights from the Atlanta programs and ways alumni can be involved to support the programs and current students. She also announced the new Online MBA program that will launch this fall. Associate Dean Santanu Chatterjee
also provided remarks and thanked guests for supporting Terry’s graduate programs.

Graduating from the Terry College of Business in 1993 with a degree in risk management and insurance, Rachel Cornelius Perry has built her career in the risk management and insurance field. Rachel began her career with Marsh, holding different positions over the course of twenty years. She then joined Aon where she has spent the last ten years of her career, most recently serving as chief innovation officer for commercial risk North America. Rachel has been very involved with the Terry College throughout her career, serving on the Alumni Board since 2017. Rachel has also been a big supporter of the Terry College Alumni Awards and Gala through sponsorship with Aon. Most recently, she established the Rachel Cornelius Perry Scholarship fund to support students in the Risk Management and Insurance program. Through this scholarship, students will be able to learn and study at the Terry College without financial burden. We are grateful to Rachel for her dedication to the Terry College and our students. Thank you, Rachel!

The January Alumni of the Day were Wadrick McCluskey, Emylee Connally, Milan Patel, and Allie Freeman. Wadrick graduated in 2012 with a BBA in Accounting and MAcc in 2013. He is now the Senior Manager of Enterprise Accounting at Cox Communications. Emylee graduated in 2021 with an MBA and is now the Associate Manager of PR, Influence & Entertainment at Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. Milan graduated in 2017 with a BBA in Finance and is now a Advisory Financial Services Management Consultant for KPMG. Allie graduated in 2018 with a BBA in Marketing and is the Marketing Director at LCG Associates, Inc.
Each week, we feature an Alum of the Day, where alumni can share about their career, company, activities they enjoy in their downtime, favorite Georgia memories, and how they choose to give back to their community. In addition to highlighting successful alumni, the goal of the Alum of the Day series is to show current Terry students the types of career opportunities that exist and give them great contacts in their industry. #13 Stetson Bennett from Blackshear, GA, led the Bulldogs to a second National Championship win in early January. Bennett is a Terry College student, majoring in economics. His story is one most people know; as a walk-on, having to believe in himself. Bennett found his way to the University of Georgia and his leadership on and off the field helped him succeed. Bennett is a reminder to bet on yourself. |

As part of Black History Month, the Terry College recognizes four outstanding diverse alumni who are pioneers in their industry. These Terry Trailblazers are business leaders who achieved career success while making a meaningful impact on their organizations and communities.
On February 23, the Class of 2023 will be recognized during the annual Terry Trailblazers program. Honorees will participate in a panel discussion to share stories from their personal career paths, as well as highlights from their time as students.
