15 YEARS OF THE PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

The Terry College was pleased to present the 15th annual Professional Women's Conference on Friday, November 7, to alumnae and friends. We are grateful for the time, talents, and expertise shared throughout the day and enjoyed having so many inspirational and talented women in one room. We hope you enjoyed the program as much as we enjoyed bringing everyone together.

In addition to our gracious hosts at Coca-Cola, this event would not have been possible without the generous support of corporate sponsors. The Terry College would like to extend a big "Thank You" to all of the Professional Women’s Conference sponsors.

AUSBAND SPEAKS AT MASON PUBLIC LEADERSHIP LECTURE

On November 12, the Terry College hosted Allison Ausband (ABJ ’83), Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer for Delta Air Lines, as the featured speaker in the Mason Public Leadership Lecture.  Ausband leads global talent management, total rewards, and HR service delivery for Delta’s 100,000-plus workforce. Her leadership journey began as a flight attendant in 1985 after graduating from UGA. She shared that great leadership starts with valuing people first, noting that culture becomes a competitive advantage when employees feel seen and supported. Ausband also emphasized that career paths aren’t always linear — encouraging students to stay curious, embrace new challenges, and lead with empathy. The Mason Public Leadership Lecture is part of the Institute for Leadership Advancement Leadership Speaker Series, featuring leaders who have made significant contributions to their communities or served in public roles. It is supported by a generous donation from Terry alumnus Keith Mason (BBA ’82, JD ’85) (pictured above).

Mary Richardson McDaniel (BBA '04) is a Vice President in Investment Management at Goldman Sachs, where she leads a team advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions on growing and preserving wealth.

A proud Terry College graduate, McDaniel earned her BBA in Finance and completed the Leonard Leadership Scholars Program through UGA’s Institute for Leadership Advancement.

Beyond her professional achievements, McDaniel is a deeply engaged alumna who has consistently given back to the Terry community. She has hosted Terry Talks and ILA reunion events, served as a panelist for the Terry Edge Network, formerly known as the Terry Women’s Initiative, and been a tireless advocate for student success and alumni engagement. Beyond Terry, she chaired the Women of UGA Steering Committee, strengthening alumni connections across the Bulldog network.

As an emeritus member of the Terry College Alumni Board and former member of the Young Alumni Board, McDaniel continues to lead by example through her support of the Terry Edge Scholarship program and her involvement in the Ten for Terry campaign. Her leadership during the Leonard Scholars Forever Campaign and her ongoing mentorship of students underscore her unwavering commitment to supporting and empowering the next generation of leaders.
