Since graduating from the University of Georgia in 2017 with a degree in Finance, Sonika Lakhwani has been a steadfast supporter of the Terry College of Business. As a loyal donor, she actively participates in the 10 for Terry campaign, helping ensure future generations of students have the same transformative experiences she did.
For Lakhwani, one of her most unforgettable moments at Terry took place halfway across the world. The summer before her senior year, she was selected for the highly competitive global internship program with KPMG. This opportunity led her to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she immersed herself in international business practices, expanding her global perspective.
After graduation, Lakhwani joined KPMG full-time and has since advanced to the role of Deal Advisory and Strategy Manager. Her time at Terry laid the foundation for her success, and she is proud to give back to the institution that helped shape her future.
Lakhwani’s commitment to Terry extends beyond her financial support. She has mentored the Sea Island Scholars, served on numerous Alumni panels on campus, and has held a variety of leadership roles on the Young Alumni Board, most notably as Board Chair for the 2024-2025 term. She has also engaged in insightful discussions with the Student Philanthropy Council, further strengthening the connection between students and alumni. We are grateful to Lakhwani for her continued investment in Terry’s future and her unwavering dedication to supporting both current students and fellow alumni. |
