HRPP announces new review system for human subjects research
The University of Georgia Human Research Protection Program (HRPP)’s new system streamlines reviews for certain exempt human subjects research. Studies involving normal educational practices or non-sensitive surveys/interviews will only need confirmation of exempt status. This change aims to enhance efficiency while maintaining protection standards. PIs must ensure compliance with HRPP and institutional policies. For more information, contact Director Kim Fowler at kfowler@uga.edu.
