The University of Georgia’s annual giving day, Dawg Day of Giving, set a single-day giving record for the third year in a row with 11,711 donations made by 11:59 p.m. on March 26. Donations cumulatively contributed over $13.8 million to supporting scholarships, experiential learning, student organizations, and more across the university, including $3.7 million raised for the new School of Medicine.

Johnelle Simpson II (AB ’16, BBA ’16) returns to UGA to ensure the continued success of the Let All the Big Dawgs Eat food scholarship program that he received as a student by giving back to the fund and volunteering as a Food Scholarship Advisory Board member.
