Core Initiatives Updates 

Competitive Compensation Model & Clear Career Paths
  • The set up and implementation of Salary.com’s CompAnalyst software is underway. The initial implementation will be internal to UHR’s Compensation and Talent teams. As a part of this project, we will be working on revising and improving the process for campus HR users to access compensation data.
Enhanced Performance Management
  • Working to develop training classes for staff supervisors and faculty supervisors on the Journeys Staff Competency Model. The goal of these trainings is to prepare supervisors to evaluate staff using the Staff Competency Model.

     

  • As of November 27, 1,510 staff members have completed the Staff Competency Model training. Additional training sessions have been scheduled via Zoom for December.
Professional Development Opportunities
  • Developing professional development plan templates that supervisors will be able to use in conjunction with annual reviews. They will have the ability to customize these plans or create them from scratch as well.
