Dear Alumni and Friends, In the spring, the McBee Institute faculty restated our vision for the future with these words: The Louise McBee Institute aspires to be a national and international leader in the rigorous study and advancement of postsecondary education. The vision is straightforward, and our commitment is deep.
The photo above shows several members of the strong network of MIHE alumni in the Atlanta area. They reflect the MIHE vision in their careers, and they are generous in support of our graduate programs. The stories below show students traveling internationally for study, faculty garnering awards and leading organizations, and alumni being tapped for institutional leadership.
You are our partners in advancing the policies, practices, and outcomes of postsecondary education – partners in achieving our vision. As I step away from the directorship and return full-time to the faculty, I look forward to getting updates on your career and seeing you at an MIHE event in the upcoming year.
With gratitude, Libby Director, Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education Zell B. Miller Distinguished Professor of Higher Education
