Calling All Dawgs! On behalf of the Nashville Alumni Chapter and the Student Veterans Resource Center, you are invited to join us for a networking event in support of student veterans at the University of Georgia.
Join fellow your Dawgs and director of the UGA Student Veterans Resource Center, Jon Segars, as he shares information about the SVRC and how the organization supports student veterans at UGA. As a part of the event, we will also be hosting a care package drive for military units with UGA Alumni. Please consider bringing the following items:
- Individually wrapped snacks: trail mix, nuts, jerky, crackers
- Gum and hard candy
- Non-aerosol toiletries, sunscreen, baby wipes
- Chapstick
- Single-serve drink powder
- Magazines
Attendance to the event is free and veteran status is not required to attend. Light appetizers will be provided, but guests will be responsible for purchasing their own beverages. In addition, all guests who attend will be entered into a raffle for unique items including a tour and tasting of Nelson's Green Brier Distillery. Come out to meet fellow alumni, and hear about how you can support veterans at UGA!
