Being ranked among the nation’s top 20 public universities by U.S. News & World Report for an 11th consecutive year is more than a measure of consistency. This distinction reflects the sustained commitment of our faculty, staff and students to excellence and to ensuring that a UGA education continues to prepare our graduates to lead. Our selection as one of three national finalists in APLU’s Excellence in Student Success Award offers another encouraging sign of the progress made possible by this shared commitment.
This issue of Inside the Arch highlights several ways UGA is building on that strong foundation. You will find a closer look at UGA’s performance across several national rankings, including recognition for academic quality and value. You also will learn about the tools, programs and courses helping faculty and students explore artificial intelligence responsibly. Finally, we look back at Homecoming and the concert at the newly renovated Legion Field, a renewed gathering place for our students and broader campus community.
