FROM OUR AMBASSADORS

Advice from a UMP Ambassador:

Kevin Nwogu

“Go for it! These mentors are here for YOU. They will be your biggest coaches, advocates, and friends. They will meet you where you are at and help you to grow in ways you may not imagine.” - Kevin Nwogu, UGA Mentor Program Ambassador & UMP Mentee

Grace Fawcett

“Have a note in your phone where you can keep questions that come to mind to ask your mentor at your next meeting. I would hop on Zoom with my mentor and my mind would go blank, so having some questions written down helped our meetings to be productive.” - Grace Fawcett, UGA Mentor Program Ambassador & UMP Mentee

TIPS & TRICKS

Need to Dip Your Toe into the Water of Networking?

In addition to requesting a mentor through the platform, you can now request informational interviews with mentors! Take the opportunity to connect with mentors for 30-minute informational interviews to ask your work, life and career-related questions and/or determine if it is a good mentoring match.
