High impact presentations certificate offered

Have you been wowed or inspired by a TED Talk? Do you want to learn how to craft and deliver a high-impact presentation of your own? You’re going to love this new opportunity from TEDxUGA.

The TEDxUGA Curation Team is leading a three-session course through the UGA Center for Continuing Education designed to help participants develop clear presentation structures, engaging visuals and intentional delivery strategies to inform, entertain and persuade audiences.

You can complete all three sessions to earn a UGA Certificate of Program Completion, or just attend the initial “High Impact Presentations: Best Practices” session. All sessions are 8-hour, in-person courses held at the University of Georgia Gwinnett Campus.

Invest in young storytellers

Campus may feel a little quieter since graduation, but the halls of Grady are already starting to buzz again. In just a few weeks, we'll welcome nearly 100 middle and high school students for Summer Media Academies. Students will get a taste of campus life and begin their own journeys as storytellers.

Next school year, hundreds more young journalists will take part in Georgia Scholastic Press Association (GSPA) workshops and trainings. Both programs reflect Grady’s strong commitment to public service and outreach.

These students are just getting started on a path many of you once walked, and we’d love to hear your scholastic journalism memories. Share your story with us for a chance to be featured, and if you’d like to help create more of these moments for the next generation, consider making a gift to support scholastic journalism.
