Amidst messages of perseverance, determination and accomplishment, nearly 150 Grady College students were celebrated during Fall Convocation on Dec. 11. The senior orator, who was selected by audition, was Katina Inglis, a public relations major and fashion merchandising minor from Alpharetta, Georgia. She spoke about growing up with dyslexia and the perseverance it took to overcome labels and limiting expectations. |

Tamlin Hall, an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, director, producer, educator and non-profit founder, has been named the new director of the University of Georgia Master of Fine Arts in Film, Television and Digital Media.
Hall has written, directed and produced numerous films. He serves as a mentor in the UGA Low-residency MFA Narrative Nonfiction program in the Screenwriting track. Additionally, Hall is the founder of a nonprofit organization called Connected Content, also referred to under the umbrella name Hope Givers, which produces films, documentary series and live shows. |

Last summer and early fall, public relations and Carmical Sports Media certificate student Brigette Ramirez, interned for Grady alumnus, Jeremy Friedman (ABJ ’96), at Outlyr in Dallas, Texas. Friedman is the the vice president of public relations and communications at Outlyr, a global sports marketing agency that manages multiple professional sporting events around the world, including golf tournaments across each of the professional golf tours. |
