We are proud to recognize alumni who have established a tradition of service and achievement in their careers with 2026 Alumni Awards. They are: 

• Sarah Karges (ABJ '15), senior vice president, Performance Investment for Havas Media Group, will receive the John E. Drewry Young Alumni Award.

• Eric NeSmith (ABJ '02), publisher and co-owner of The Bitter Southerner, will receive the Professional Excellence Award.

• Tracy Brown (ABJ '88), chief partnership officer for Chicago Public Media, will receive the John Holliman, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award.

• Wilson Lowrey (MA '90, PhD '00), professor at The University of Alabama, will receive the Distinguished Alumni Scholar Award.

Alumni Award recipients will be recognized at the College’s annual recognition event, Grady Salutes: A Celebration of Achievement, Leadership and Commitment, on Friday, March 27. 

Three alumni will be inducted into the Grady Fellowship during Grady Salutes on Friday, March 27. The Grady Fellowship honors alumni and friends of the college whose accomplishments, friendship and service to their industries have made a positive impact on Grady College. This year's inductees are:

Tracy Brown (ABJ '88), chief partnership officer for Chicago Public Media

Maureen Clayton (ABJ '80 MA '84), president and founder of Insight Strategic Communications

Alan Griggs (ABJ '72), associate professor, school of communication, Lipscomb University
