New executive committee members, fall events, and more!

Georgia Women Give

Georgia Women Give

Happy fall, everyone! Football, leaves turning, the weather cooling off: these are all autumn hallmarks, but for Georgia Women Give, this fall is about new beginnings.

We were thrilled to close out our first year with 152 founding donors, and now we begin a new era. Fittingly, we now have six new members on our executive committee. I know these leaders will help guide our group to even greater engagement with and impact on campus.

And speaking of engagement with campus, watch your mailboxes over the next few weeks! We are gearing up for our fall on-campus event, and invitations should be reaching you all soon. More information on this event is below, but first...

One Big Question

Upcoming Events

Join us on Friday afternoon, November 15, for a luncheon and unique opportunity to experience the Porcelain and Decorative Arts Museum at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. And in the evening, make plans to attend the annual Presidents Club reception in the Tate Student Center Grand Hall from 5 - 7 p.m.!

On home game weekends this football season, join Georgia Women Give donors and their guests for a game day walk. We’ll meet at 7:30 a.m. on North Campus at the Arch. These should be great opportunities to visit with one another (and some new faces) while we tour campus and take in that exciting game day energy!

Finally, mark your calendars now: our spring event is happening on March 20 and 21! As we did last year, we'll begin with a Thursday afternoon event at the UGA Chapel, then move to dine-around dinners where we'll learn about programs and hear from students and faculty in small dining settings, and we'll conclude with a signature luncheon on Friday.
