Introducing LiveAlumni & Vertical Alignment!

September 2022 brings two new exciting developments to GAIL! You may have already noticed these changes, but in case it slipped under your radar, we've rounded up how these new features will help you enjoy your experience with GAIL even more.

LiveAlumni

With the introduction of the LiveAlumni tab, users now have easy access to LiveAlumni information directly in GAIL. This includes employment information from public LinkedIn profiles as well as employment relationships in GAIL. Additional enhancements are in the works for the future, and we will continue to keep you updated through Tips & Tricks.

Vertical Alignment

BEE just keeps buzzing with new updates! In its latest feature, columns within a single row can now be aligned along a vertical axis. This feature will help users design rows with unevenly sized columns,  improving the readability and layout of the content displayed. Try it out today!

Managing GAIL Groups & Committees

If you are managing a Group or Committee in GAIL, check out these updated tips for adding new members, end dating members that are rolling off, using proper naming convention, and more.

GAIL Steering Announcement

In lieu of steering meetings, the Client Services team will begin offering ‘Office Hours’ that will be launched in the near future (similar to our past workshops). These office hours will be optional, topic specific, and will be open to all GAIL users.

"As with any castle (home), there will always be renovations and expansions, so we will keep building up our GAIL castle, as needed!"

Join Our Team!

For those of you that are not aware, we are actively looking for an additional Training and Communications Specialist to join the Client Services team. We encourage anyone who'd like to be considered for this role to apply here.

Office of Special Events

Ever wondered who's responsible for UGA's largest event? That would be our fabulous Special Events team! They design, develop and manage undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies, as well as all other special events that showcase the University's excellence.

If you're not familiar with who they are and what they do, now's a great time to get acquainted and learn more about them!

You have the option of taking in-person or virtual/hybrid GAIL training classes. Class registration options can be found on the GAIL Resources page by clicking the button below.
