New Features and System Updates

UGAF's New Electronic Letter of Commitment

The UGA Foundation created a new online form for Development staff to initiate when working with donors who wish to make a charitable commitment to support any of the various funding efforts for the University. This form is fillable using DocuSign which includes electronic delivery.

Expanded Rollout for Email Receipts

The UGA Foundation is rolling out email gift receipts to a larger group of donors.  Now donors making gifts by check, cash or credit card will receive a tax receipt by email instead of a mailed letter, as long as they have a valid email address in GAIL.  The initial rollout to online donors was a great success, and we are excited to offer this service to a broader group.  We will also honor the wishes of donors who express a preference to continue to receive printed letters.  For questions regarding email receipts, please contact Gift Accounting at UGAFbusiness@uga.edu.

Recent Updates in BEE (Email Editor)

Have you heard the buzz? There are two new updates to Mobile Style and Text in BEE that'll allow for more flexibility and control of emails. We encourage you to try them out in your next communication!

Fraternity & Sorority Information Updated in GAIL

Information pertaining to fraternity and sorority membership has been updated in GAIL through the fall 2022 semester. This information is self-reported by Greek organizations throughout the semester so data is still being collected for the spring 2023 term. Approximately 8,300 students are affiliated with Greek life.
