Let's take a short walk down memory lane to see how much GAIL has evolved

and grown over the past 10 years!

As we prepared for Go-Live, we acquired a few items to help introduce and promote  the new alumni and donor database system that was branded as GAIL.

Early on, communications with our stakeholders and steering committee members were delivered in a weekly email that we called GAIL Gazette, which later converted into our monthly GAIL Tips & Tricks e-newsletter to all GAIL users.

Recurring Gift vs. Automatic Pledge Payment

Recurring gifts and automatic pledge payments are different types of transactions.  Once collected, credit card data is encrypted and intentionally cannot be moved from a recurring gift to a pledge installment in GAIL.  If a donor is interested in an automated credit card pledge payment, please direct them to Brenda Bryant in Gift Accounting (706-542-8164) rather than directing them to set up a recurring gift online.

Also a reminder that credit card information should never be shared electronically (email, text message, Sendfiles, Docusign, etc). 

May 2023 Grads

6,580 May 2023 graduates are now in the GAIL system and are available to be included in your events, newsletters and other communications.
