The PLC Grants Program makes a direct impact on the undergraduate student experience on UGA's campus. Below are the different student organizations and programs our student speakers shared about in our Fall PLC Meeting on Friday afternoon. CAES Ambassador Program
A group of students who recruit incoming students to UGA, participate in leadership training and development, and represent the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences that received $3,571 in PLC Grant Funding.
CAES Rural Scholars Program
A scholarship program that recognizes incoming, first-year students from Georgia's rural communities who are seeking a degree in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. This program received $18,375 in PLC Grant Funding.
Ambassadors of the UGA Mentor Program
A well-rounded group of 21 students who represented different majors and colleges across UGA's campus who participate in a year-long leadership training experience. This group received $2,724 in PLC Grant Funding.
Campus Kitchens at UGA
Housed in the Office of Service-Learning, Campus Kitchens received $13,946 in PLC Grant Funding. They exist to spotlight sustainable solutions to hunger and food waste and to showcase a mutually beneficial university-community partnership.
Terry College Study Abroad Scholarship
A program designed to lessen the burden of travel expenses for students who are interested in taking advantage of study away opportunities. They received $9,107 in PLC Grant Funding.
