We did it, team: we not only surpassed our $250 million fundraising goal this year in order to achieve a 3-year rolling average of $250 million, but we also set a new fundraising record for the university! THANK YOU for your hard work; your dedication; your commitment. It's been an incredibly busy year, especially this spring.
We have less than one month left to finish the drill. Let's continue to reach higher and do more to improve lives and support the great work taking place on campus and across the state. |

With the addition of UGA license tag donors and all the Q4 efforts across campus, we feel confident we will achieve our goal by the end of the fiscal year. Thank you so much for all your hard work in this space and let's keep going strong for the next several weeks to hit our target! Questions? Email Heather Duiser.

Here are a few recent bits of news from DAR/campus: |
|
| Employee Experience Holds First Event |
Employee Experience (EΒ²) held its first monthly event April 30, Exploring Campus Cuisine: Bolton Dining Commons. The group of DAR colleagues embarked on a culinary journey in one of UGA's newest dining halls. Many in the group ended the meal with a tasty treat β warm cookies, creamy ice cream, or comforting bread pudding. However, the best part of the outing were conversations among colleagues who don't normally cross paths. Couldn't make it? No worries! EΒ² has more monthly events lined up. Stay tuned for details. Question about EΒ²? Reach out to Cristy Jones.

Thanks to Heather Duiser and Brittany Rider for providing MARCOMM with siblings who could be featured in UGA's official PSA that airs during football season. We're pleased to report that Kemper (AB '23, AB '23) and Ella Higgins ('24) will participate, the children of PLC members Michael and Jennifer Kemper. MARCOMM appreciated the leads and says the siblings did great! Kudos to Edwin Hammond, too, for lending his film skills to the MARCOMM team as PSA production begins.

DARCOMM produced a Spike x Bridgerton-inspired social post when season 3 of Bridgerton premiered on Netflix earlier this month. Summer interns Ashley Allen and Ashlyn Carroll recommended capitalizing on the social hype around the show while designers Justin Patton, Amy Gunby and Jules Sherrill
brought digital strategist Allie White's visual idea into reality. As of May 20, the post has 19% engagement (1-4% is considered high) and 700 shares on Instagram.
