Season's greetings, team! As we dive into the final weeks of the year, I want to share my gratitude for all that you give to DAR and UGA. I'm lucky to work with such a committed group of professionals, and I'm especially appreciative for your support over the past few weeks during the VP interview process. Your presence, kind words, and thoughtful questions spurred me on. And I'm now so grateful to have the opportunity to lead you as vice president. My door is open, and I am ready to hear your ideas as we continue our strong momentum.
We have lots to celebrate this month—I’m looking forward to our Jingle Jam, Toys for Tots drive and holiday feast together. Our good friends at the Terry College have launched an initiative that I would like for all of us to consider: #BestDecemberEver! What can do you to make it the Best December Ever in your role, for DAR and for UGA? Don’t be surprised if I reach out or walk around to ask you what you’re doing to make it the Best December Ever. Let’s finish 2023 strong!
