Four Strategic Initiatives |
As we transition into FY24, DAR will focus on four main areas (below). In the coming months, we will collaborate to define and communicate success around these areas and align our work to advance them. They have been communicated to the president, and VP Walton has been including them in meetings across the division: -
Fundraising to support UGA strategic priorities through scholarship support, experiential learning, facilities and active learning, student wellness, and faculty support.
- Strengthening our donor pipeline through data-driven engagement with students, alumni, and friends.
-
Expanding industry engagement and cultivating support for the Innovation District.
- Engaging students in career development and mentorship.

UGA Professional Development Resources |
The start of a new school year is here, and many students are excited to get back to campus and start learning. Did you know that you don't have to be a student to learn new skills at UGA? There are myriad opportunities for faculty/staff to expand their knowledge and expertise through classes, workshops, and other online resources—there's something for everyone! Talent Management encourages you to take advantage of all UGA has to offer, such as: Questions about these resources? Please contact Michelle Carter. |
|
|
To enhance the student experience, UGA is launching Dawg Source to connect students to resources from pre-enrollment through graduation in person and online. This "one-stop" initiative was announced during the 2023 State of the University Address. During Phase 1, the UGA App for iOS and Android will offer customized views for students, employees, and other groups. Users will select an experience category, which will allow the UGA App to emphasize the info that is most applicable. Download the UGA App in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store
. And don't forget to also download the UGA Safe App (below).
