The Pulse: Development & Alumni Relations Newsletter

I enjoyed celebrating our second-highest fundraising year together last week—thank you to the DAR staff who helped plan such a fun gathering at Live Wire Athens. As we launch into FY24, if I can be of any assistance to your team in closing gifts, engaging alumni and offering world-class career development, please let me know! As Coach Smart recently noted: "Better Never Rests!"

? Pre-Season Football Solicitation Campaign ?

Get Your Gameday Buttons

FY24 started off with a bang for Annual Giving as they launched this year’s preseason football solicitation campaign in early July. This year’s campaign has a two-pronged goal: acquiring new donors while retaining current and previous donors. The perk? Donors who give $5+ will receive a pair of game day buttons as a thank you. The campaign (which has attracted 1,100 gifts so far) will conclude in late August. Questions? Email Sherry Abrams.

New UGAF Leadership/Trustees + BOV Members

Email Lindsey Copus.

UGA also welcomed five new members to the UGA Board of Visitors for 2023-2026:
