Early October brought DAR a Beat Week win and a successful UGAF Board of Trustees meeting. Let's keep the "wins" coming as we celebrate Homecoming this weekend (with our Alumni board in town) and meet with donors and alumni around the GA/FL game. Kudos to everyone involved in these endeavors; they require tremendous collaboration and innovation!
Kudos also go to the Career Center for breaking records last month as they hosted 3,900+ students and 500 employers during the Fall Career & Internship Fair and the Fall Engineering & Computer Science Career and Internship Fair. And before that, engaging with 738 students in one-on-one resume reviews. That's commitment! As always, please let me know if I can be of assistance to you and your team. I appreciate your commitment to the work we do each and every day. |

- Recruit and retain underrepresented individuals at all levels in the organization with a focus on senior and mid-level roles.
-

Beat Week vs. Auburn Recap |
For the third year in a row, UGA was victorious over Auburn during our annual Beat Week giving challenge. Each team went paw-to-paw from Oct. 3-8, but UGA claimed the win with 2,793 gifts to Auburn’s 1,817 gifts. And once again, UGA students showed how loud Dawgs can bark with a whopping 727 donations. Thank you to all who helped make this another successful year! |

UGA Specialty Plates in Florida ... |
Bulldogs across Florida have been clamoring for a UGA specialty license plate in their state for years—and it's becoming a reality. Thanks to the Office of Alumni Relations, Advancement Services, Gift Accounting, FL chapter leaders and DARCOMM, 3,000 plate vouchers have been sold (the pre-requisite to printing a plate). The Alumni Relations team is now working with the State of Florida to verify each sale. Once that becomes official, the state will begin production of the plate for those who purchased a voucher. Additional details about next steps are on the Florida plate campaign webpage.
