This morning, we'll be publicly announcing the record-breaking fiscal year; we raised over $257 million in FY22, which was also our fifth $200M+ year in the last six. This success does not happen without this incredible team. I want to thank each of you for the role you played in making this possible.
It wasn't the easiest year on record with COVID concerns, upheavals in the labor and financial markets, disrupted supply chains, high inflation rates and gas prices. I know this (and much more) is on your minds, and I want to thank you for bringing your best amid mounting challenges. Some days, it's no small feat to just get the simple things done, like showing up and supporting your colleagues. It's absolutely inspiring that we managed yet another record fundraising year.
On Thursday, we'll gather in the West End Zone of Sanford Stadium to celebrate our many accomplishments—some of which are mentioned below—but mostly to celebrate each other. Thank you for all that you've done and what you continue to do to make DAR and UGA better. If I can ever be of assistance, please let me know. |

UGA breaks fundraising record in FY22 |
This morning, we'll be publicly announcing the record-breaking fiscal year; we raised over $257 million in FY22, which was also our fifth $200M+ year in the last six. This total came from 71,302 donors, and our three-year rolling average reached $212.5 million.
With help from every member of DAR across campus (and the country), we achieved 16% APR (Alumni Participation Rate) in FY22. As you may recall, this number influences our U.S. News and World Report rankings and is a metric followed closely by UGA administration. Questions about APR? Email Heather Duiser.
