It's that time of year to get your Ag Dawg Kickoff t-shirt and support a student to attend this kickoff event! For $30, you can provide a student with the Ag Dawg Kickoff experience and receive a commemorative 2022 Ag Dawg Kickoff t-shirt (valued at $10).

 

Don't need a t-shirt, but want to sponsor a student to attend Ag Dawg Kickoff? That's an option too! Order before July 24. 

 

Linda Glanton Early's (BSA - Food Science, ’74) high school employer had dinner with UGA CAES Dean Henry Garden. That dinner helped pave the way for her to come to Athens. 

 

“I felt so grateful to Dr. Garren that I wanted to stay in the College of Agriculture,” Early said.

Interested in mentoring CAES Students? Join the UGA Mentor Program! What does that look like? Meeting with your mentee online or in person one to two hours per month for a semester. You can also choose to do 15-30 minute conversations with students if a 16 week mentorship doesn't fit into your schedule.

“I have a really deep appreciation for being at the college and being part of the University of Georgia,” said Tim Miller (BSA - Agricultural Mechanization Technology, ’86). “The college really supported me in order to graduate, and so I want to give back to that.”

 

Tim is the new CAES Alumni Board president as of July 1.
