Back-to-back strong showing at #20
by U.S. News
Dear alumni, alumnae and friends,
Earlier today, U.S. News & World Report issued its latest ranking of our nation’s law schools, and once again the University of Georgia School of Law was ranked in the Top 20.
This is our second year in a row at this position, which is our highest ever. Your law school remains the highest ranked law school in the state of Georgia (for the fourth year) and is counted among the top seven public law schools in the nation (again).
This repeatedly strong showing at #20 reaffirms your law school’s sustained success in redefining what it means to be a great national public law school, especially when it is paired with other significant measures such as:
All of these markers of success were achieved through the efforts of many. You – our graduates and friends – continue to answer the call to help fund scholarships and programming, provide jobs and serve as mentors. The UGA administration, under the leadership of President Jere Morehead (J.D.’80), and the UGA Foundation remain steadfast supporters of our school’s vision. And, our talented faculty and staff are as committed as ever to ensuring the success of each and every one of our students, who are the reasons why we are here.
I greatly appreciate the role you have played in our sustained success in offering a world-class, hands-on, purpose-driven educational experience while never surrendering our commitment to accessibility. We truly are redefining what it means to be a great national public law school!
Sincerely,
