Join us on Friday, April 26 as we recognize the achievement, commitment and leadership of these alumni and friends. The luncheon ceremony will take place on our Schnitzer Family Media Lawn.  The registration deadline is April 19.

Peabody Awards launching podcast

The Peabody Awards and Center for Media & Social impact will launch "We Disrupt this Broadcast" on April 11. The podcast will feature acclaimed TV creatives as they delve into the inner workings and cultural significance of shows that are changing the rules and shaping the future.  Featured guests include Quinta Brunson, Damon Lindelof, Ramy Youssef, Pamela Adlon, Bridget Everett, Charlie Brooker and more.

Summer Academy registration is in full swing

In partnership with the University of Georgia's Summer Academy program, Grady College is offering weeklong, in-person camps in the following subject areas: Advertising and Public Relations; Broadcast Journalism; Multimedia Journalism; and Entertainment and Media Studies. Instructors will lead engaging activities and participants will hear from guest speakers. They’ll also work on specialized projects over the course of each week. 

The programs are open to students ages 13-17, and there are commuter and residential options. Registration is happening on a rolling basis at www.georgiacenter.uga.edu/youth/summer-academy.
