Thanksgiving Message from Dean Hirt While this semester has not been traditional, I appreciate the resiliency and hard work of everyone. Faculty, staff and students have risen to the challenge of virtual and hybrid learning. We have seen some very successful projects, creative solutions, and new possibilities to explore. Our landscape architecture students have had the opportunity to meet with industry professionals via zoom to learn more about the field. Historic Preservation has partnered with the Anthropology department for a new Double Dawgs degree path. Students in Urban Planning and Design have launched the Lettus Talk podcast to discuss topics often overlooked within our three disciplines.
Although our courses are moving online for the remainder of the term, we want to remind you that we are still here to help and support you all in any way possible. We look forward to seeing all the final projects, reports, and other work you all have dedicated time and effort to.
With that said, I wish you all a safe, restful, and happy Thanksgiving.
