Celebrating Terry College Research | Terry College Research Digest Spring 2023 | Terry faculty report 103 papers in high-impact journals

Research Digest Spring 2022 - Terry College of Business University of Georgia

Hi Everyone,

As you recall, last month I asked each of you to complete a short survey to promote our outstanding research faculty at the Terry College. Nearly 70% of you did—thank you for that.

As a snapshot of our outstanding production, these Terry faculty authored nearly 100 papers in top journals, an outstanding rate of more than 1 per year. In addition, 22 of these articles were with current or former doctoral students, a strong testament to our commitment to our Ph.D. program.

The survey also revealed that 10 Terry faculty currently serve as editors or associate editors at top journals (with many having served past terms), that these faculty received more than 20 research awards in the past year, and that they have been collectively awarded more than a dozen research grants.

We also have provided links below to the articles faculty provided us. Have a look at your leisure.

As a way of recognizing the high level of research produced each year, my office will be sending out this twice-annual research digest. It will allow us to celebrate our accomplishments as a College and share our work with our colleagues in other departments.

In closing, I wanted to congratulate all of you on two years of amazing productivity. Despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, you have remained highly productive.

Thanks for all your hard work this year, and I wish you all a productive and relaxing summer.

Michael D. Pfarrer, Ph.D.
