Football season is heating up and the Dawgs are delivering on the field. Here in DAR, we also continue to attack the day as we seek to ensure that every Bulldog commits to Georgia. Thank you for the effort and innovation you apply to your projects each day.
Continue to take steps to keep yourself and others safe during the pandemic. It's up to us to stay Georgia Strong. Dawg Strong. Have a great week and let's beat Auburn twice this week, once during Beat Week and once on the field. GO DAWGS! Important Update: Fall Career and Internship Fair The UGA Career Center has been diligently preparing another outstanding career fair for students, alumni and employers on October 6 at the Classic Center. As the Classic Center is an off-campus space and subject to Athens-Clarke County mandates, COVID policy changes will affect student and employer entry into the event. Face masks are required, as well as one of the three following items:
Questions about the fair? Call (706) 542-3375. Questions about the COVID changes? Email Tim DeMott at Classic Center.
Homecoming is Around the Corner! As Homecoming approaches, the phrase "Home is Where the Arch Is" rings true. As usual, a number of schools, colleges and units are hosting special events for alumni across campus, including the Institute of Higher Education, Grady College, Terry College, FACS, Franklin, CED, and the Mary Frances Early College of Education. In addition, the Black Alumni Leadership Council is hosting its annual Black Alumni Homecoming Tailgate on Myers Quad. Have an event or program to add to the lineup? Email Elizabeth Elmore.
