Prospect Summary Briefing Report
Are you ever asked to provide a complete summary of information for a prospect, donor, event attendee, etc.? A new Prospect Summary Briefing report will allow you to compile this with a few clicks.
The report can be found under Analysis >> Constituent Reports >> Custom Reports.
This report allows you to pull in certain pieces of information (shown below). While some fields are auto-checked, you also have the ability to include/exclude these options. Also, notice that you can present the data using Revenue/Recognition filters as well.
The completed report will include a section for each criteria area selected. One new section is the Prospect Narrative field. This populates a customized narrative you can write as a biographic, event-based, or philanthropic summary about a prospect. This information is pulled directly from constituent Interactions that have a type of Prospect Narrative. For many, this type of interaction will be entered for the purpose of becoming the lead bio statement.
**Please remember that the Prospect Narrative entered in the Interactions screen for the purpose of becoming the lead bio summary statement on the Prospect Summary Briefing report DOES become part of the prospect’s record in GAIL. The same summary, although editable, will appear on any subsequent reports featuring Interaction entries. Do be careful while writing these from a narrow perspective of “What does this donor mean to the _______ school?” or “Why is this donor significant to attend ______ event?”**
