All GAIL classes will be held at the Milledge Centre building (394 S. Milledge Ave, Athens).
While parking is free at Milledge Centre, the amount of available parking is often extremely limited. We strongly urge you to either ride the bus, walk, or have someone drop you off for training. If you choose to ride the bus, there is a drop off location right across the street from our building. If you do park on site please see the front receptionist upon arrival to receive your temporary parking pass.
To sign up for a Stewardship & Acknowledgements class – send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will reach out to you to schedule a session.
Steps For New GAIL Users
1. If you are a full-time faculty/staff member who needs the ability to view and update information in GAIL, you will need to register for our GAIL 101 All Users training. You can do so by scrolling to the bottom of this page and locating an upcoming GAIL 101 class on the calendar.
2. If you are a student worker, grad assistant, or intern who needs the ability to view and update information in GAIL, you will participate in our GAIL 101 Student Worker training. This training class is scheduled on an as-needed basis to accommodate our students' class schedules. To sign-up for a student worker training, please email email@example.com and provide the days and times of your UGA work schedule. A member of the Client Services team will respond to you with a list of possible training times.
3. If you are a full-time or part-time employee and only need to view information in GAIL, you can participate in our GAIL 101 Online training. This training consists of watching a series of videos and completing an online quiz. Note: This training will not give you the ability to change or add new information to GAIL. If you need updating capabilities, you will need to take either GAIL 101 All Users or GAIL 101 Student Worker training. To sign-up for online training, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of the Client Services team will respond to you with further instructions on how to access the online module.
