Advertising and Public Relations program recognized |
Our Advertising and Public Relations program has been named a top five finalist for Outstanding Education Program in the nation by PRWeek, one of the leading publications in the public relations industry.
The department is a finalist for the 2024 PRWeek US Awards, which evaluates programs based on faculty, student body, programs and courses, workforce impact and professional involvement/association.
The top education award will be announced at a PRWeek gala in New York City on March 14. Programs joining UGA in the top finalists include The City College of New York, Syracuse University, University of Florida and University of Southern California. |

Students seeking internships and full-time jobs in digital, print and broadcast journalism, entertainment, film, production, media sales, advertising, public relations and mass communication will attend Career Day on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Nearly 200 Fall graduates were celebrated by family, friends, faculty and staff at convocation Thursday, Dec. 14. The senior speaker was Audrie Uphues, a journalism major who graduated Magna Cum Laude with certificates in New Media, Carmical Sports Media and Terry College of Business Entrepreneurship. She gave an address about the four traits — connection, toughness, resilience and composure — that make up “the DNA of a Champion.” |
